Time it Takes to File    Home | Up

• The time it takes for the filings, depends upon the State and whether or not you submitted or have all the information for the filings.  In some states, we file on the same day we receive your order. 
  • Then, either we, or the government sends you the official document filed document.

However, keep in mind that in most states the average time for filing is the following:

1. DBA Fictitious Business Name - If required, we will send a representative to your home or office to have the dba certificate notarized.  It takes an average of  3-5 Business Days - could take longer in some states but you will get the filed and officially stamped document in your hands.  In other states, we file on the same day we receive your order.  The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.

2. Business License:  The average time is 4-8 business days - but could take longer in some states.  In some states, we file on the same day we receive your order. The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.

3. Fed Tax Id (1- 24 hours) - We will send you the Number by e-mail or fax to use to open your business bank account. Note, the government will send you a welcome package within a couple of weeks. In other states, we file on the same day we receive your order.  The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.

4. State Tax id (Employer identification  Number  (EIN)) The time it takes varies but average time is  one to eight days - could take longer in some states. In other states, we file on the same day we receive your order.  The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.

5. Wholesale License may take 3 days to about a week but may take as long as 3-10  business days because in some states there are special processing requirements.  In other states, we file on the same day we receive your order.  The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.

6. Corporations: 7-20 business days or if expedited can be done same day or with rush service in a few days. In other states, we file on the same day we receive your order.  The government may take longer to mail you the certificate.  Keep in mind that we may have expedited service in some states.
